Durango Dogs offers dog training group classes at the Durango Recreation Center. For your convenience we also offer private dog training sessions in your home.
Durango Dogs Owner & Dog Trainer, Juliet Whitfield, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, and a Professional Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
Juliet believes strongly in using only POSITIVE reinforcement training methods. Our techniques enhance the people/dog relationship in an atmosphere of fun, cooperation and mutual respect.
Our Mission is to help you live well with your dog. Juliet will teach you how to communicate with your dog and understand how your dog thinks! All while having some fun with your dog, isn't that why you have them?

Join in on the Puppy Party at the Durango Rec Center!
EVERY Saturday Morning 9am, outside, see our Puppy Party page for more dates
- A socialization hour for dogs 8-22 weeks old
- Bring your dog, your shot records (mininum 1 round of shots required).
- Pay at the front desk of the Rec Center (do not take dog there).
- $10.00 per session.
- This is a socialization and training class.
- Have your dog on a flat buckle collar or a harness and a 6 foot leash.
Outside in the Splash Pad (west of the Rec Center Building) (It's grassy and fenced in!)
