Durango Dogs offers dog training group classes at the Durango Recreation Center. For your convenience we also offer private dog training sessions in your home.
Durango Dogs Owner & Dog Trainer, Juliet Whitfield, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, and a Professional Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
Juliet believes strongly in using only POSITIVE reinforcement training methods. Our techniques enhance the people/dog relationship in an atmosphere of fun, cooperation and mutual respect.
Our Mission is to help you live well with your dog. Juliet will teach you how to communicate with your dog and understand how your dog thinks! All while having some fun with your dog, isn't that why you have them?

FREE CLASS!
Your New Dog and You!
Have you recently acquired a new dog or puppy? This is the class to help you start off on the right paw! This FREE class will help dog parents develop a plan to set you all up for success with management tips and basic training. Donations accepted for the La Plata County Humane Society. This class is for humans only.

Good Manners & Super Puppy Classes
A great class for Puppies and Adult dogs, all Family Members welcome. Start out on the right paw with your new puppy or dog. This is the best time to teach your pup the behaviors you want him to do for the rest of your lives together. Perfect your communications skills with your dog by working on these commands: sit, down, leave it, wait, drop it, loose leash walking, target and much more. Learning these commands and other new tricks will keep your dog interested, occupied and a well behaved member of your family. Each class will cover a new topic and include problem solving techniques. Learn these basic commands and have a calmer more well mannered puppy/dog so you can all live peacefully in your household together. Class includes an Instruction Manual.

- Saturdays at 9:00 am: NEW CLASS starting June 1 (sign up under the Super Puppy Class)
